GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say two people have died as a result of a fire in a western Michigan adult foster care home. Grand Rapids police and fire officials say the men who died were 18 and 62. Firefighters say they arrived early Saturday to find heavy flames coming from the front of the 2 1/2 story house, and both men were found in second-floor bedrooms. Authorities say the older man died at the scene and the younger one died at a hospital. A third person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. About a dozen people made it out safely, either on their own or with the help of fire crews. Officials believe the fire started on the porch but don't know the cause. It appears to have been accidental.
