DETROIT (AP) - The Downtown Detroit Partnership is expected to give updates on more than 20 development projects in the pipeline, under construction or recently completed in the downtown area. The organization's annual Fall Stakeholder meeting is scheduled Thursday afternoon at the Westin Book Cadillac. Detroit Economic Growth Corp. Chief Executive Kevin Johnson also will talk about the future of his organization and its economic development strategy. The Downtown Detroit Partnership brings together business, philanthropic and governmental leaders to develop initiatives and programs designed to strengthen and support Detroit's urban core. It also works to enhance the appeal of downtown to businesses, residents and visitors.
