Here is the student-athlete of the week, brought to you by Bob Maxey Ford of Howell, just one mile west of the Latson exit.

This week’s student-athlete is Shane Sovik of the Howell football team. Shane had a big night on both sides of the ball for the Highlanders in last week’s win over Hartland. He rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on offense, and had two interceptions on defense as the Highlanders won their third game in a row.
