A pair of area coaches will be inducted into the Michigan High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame next month. John Dukes (pictured), a longtime football coach at Howell High School, and Mike Joseph, who has coached the Hartland girls golf team for 19 seasons, will be inducted next month in a ceremony at Central Michigan University.

Dukes was Howell’s varsity coach for 25 seasons and is with the program as the JV team’s offensive coordinator. Joseph also coached girls basketball, among other sports, for 12 years at Hartland. They will be inducted on September 16th.
