The Livingston County Health Department has released its 2023 Annual Report.

The Department said it’s pleased to share the report with its partners and the community, which provides a review of its work and response efforts.

Officials said the accomplishments were made possible through extensive collaboration with local partners and leaders, as well as the continued efforts of staff and volunteers.

The Department said “We are honored to serve as your local public health department, and we look forward to continuing collaborations to promote health and safety for everyone in our community”.

Director/Health Officer Matt Bolang said of note, the Department has recently trained staff to better respond and support infection control at their congregate care facilities, they remodeled one of their exam rooms to accommodate patients who have sensory needs, and also provided information about their response to harmful algal blooms in county lakes.
