Job Summary

F.AO. Jewelers is a family owned fine jewelry store in Brighton. We are looking to add experienced jewelry sales professionals to our growing team. Must be energetic, highly motivated and able to work in a team atmosphere. Need to be available weekends. Part time and full time positions will be considered. Responsibilities and Duties

• Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals
• Meet and greet customers as they enter the store
• Engage in dialog with customers to uncover their needs
• Ability to steer a conversation subtlety, without having to rely on blunt questions like ‘what is your budget’
• Listening to customer needs
• Entering Sales and customer information into PoS system
• Attending on and off-site customer outreach events
• Maintaining an impeccable store atmosphere
• Maintaining a strong understanding of our products and services
• Following up with customers as needed on custom jobs and repairs
• Understands website navigation, and proactively leverages technology in order to facilitate the customer experience and provide customer solutions when the product is not available in the store
• Maintains current knowledge of merchandise lines; product features, benefits and availability
• Participate in store upkeep & perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to follow directions and listen to customers
• Outgoing personality

Additional Desired Traits

• High school education or above
• Retail Sales experience (jewelry preferred)
• Experience handling sales above $10,000 per transaction
• Creative problem solving
• Gemologist certification preferred

Salary: $13.00 - $25.00 per hour
