A road in Northfield Township has re-opened following earlier flooding.

The Washtenaw County Road Commission re-opened Spencer Road between North Territorial Road and Five Mile Road. It has been shut down to traffic since around 11am last Wednesday due to flooding.

Recent heavy rains and melting snow led to impassable roads, prompted flood warnings and evacuations in parts of the state. Various roads throughout Livingston County were also closed due to dangerous conditions. (JM)
