Michigan's attorney general says evidence is "compelling" against a man charged with murder in the disappearance of woman whose parents live in Fowlerville.

Attorney General Dana Nessel spoke to reporters today, one day after her office filed a murder charge against Floyd Galloway Jr. He's accused of killing Danielle Stislicki of Farmington Hills, who was last seen in December 2016. Her body has never been found. Nessel said she's confident there's enough evidence to move the case forward. Nessel said Stislicki’s disappearance more than two years ago has left a hole in her family and they deserve justice. She noted the Farmington Hills Police Department has gone to extraordinary lengths to uncover every piece of evidence available and that evidence is compelling. Initially referred to as a “person of interest”, Galloway has long been suspected of luring Stislicki to his home and then killing her. He was arrested, tried and convicted in an attack on a female jogger in Hines Park in September 2016. He is currently serving a 16-30 year prison sentence. The Stislicki family said they are very grateful that the Attorney General's office is taking charge of Danielle’s case and moving forward with the evidence that has been gathered, they feel their daughter will receive the justice she deserves.
