Brighton City Police are looking for the suspects who attempted to steal an ATM at the Chase Bank at 9858 East Grand River Ave.

In a press release, police said that the would-be robbers entered the Chase Bank property at about 3:15 a.m. on Memorial Day driving a stolen truck, and, in the attempt to remove the ATM, crashed into a DTE guide wire, knocking out power to the immediate area. The ATM machine was also damaged in the attempted robbery. The suspects were unsuccessful in their efforts to steal the ATM.

Brighton Police were assisted at the scene by the Green Oak and Hamburg Twp. Police and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office. Police do not have a description of the suspects at this time and are continuing their investigation.
