A resurfacing project on 7 Mile Road in Salem Township is complete.

The Washtenaw County Road Commission says last week, their contractor was able to finish paving the new surface of 7 Mile Road and all restrictions have been lifted.

The next and final steps of the project include placing aggregate shoulders and pavement markings. However, the Road Commission advises the timeframe for that work is still yet to be determined.

Updates will be issued as dates are finalized.
