A travel advisory has been issued for the Spencer Road Bridge in Brighton later this week - which will impact traffic for motorists.

The Spencer Road bridge over US-23 will be closed to complete epoxy overlay from 6am Thursday to 6pm Friday.

MDOT advises that eastbound traffic will be detoured via Old US-23, Grand River Avenue, and Whitmore Lake to Spencer Road.

Westbound traffic will be detoured via Pleasant Valley Drive and Grand River Avenue to Spencer Road.
