Michigan’s largest model train show is rolling into East Lansing on November 5th.

The annual train show usually draws about three-thousand attendees, and according to John Hartman of the Lansing Model Railroad Club, says that based on the sell-out of vendor tables, this year looks to be another large one. Hartman says the show promises something for everyone.

General admission for the show 8 dollars and kids 12 and under get in for free as well as scouts in uniform.

The show features trains and train layouts of various sizes, artwork, collectibles, vendors, books, and more. The National Model Railroad Association Division 5 chapter will be offering free demonstrations in the center of the show area.

The annual show is organized by volunteer members of the non-profit Lansing Model Railroad Club in Delta Township, founded in 1953.

The Lansing Train Show is November 5th from 10 am to 4pm at The Michigan State University Pavilion. Parking is available at the MSU commuter lot at the corner of Mt. Hope and Farm Lane.
