A public open house is set for area commuters and stakeholders as the US-127/I-496 project prepares to pick back up in Ingham County.
Work on the multi-year project resumes in March, focusing on the southbound lanes. All work is expected to be complete in fall 2027.
Interested residents, commuters, community stakeholders, and local businesses are encouraged to attend the meeting on Tuesday, February 18th, from 4:30 to 6pm. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.
The meeting will take place at the Foster Community Center, Room 213, 200 N. Foster Ave. Lansing, MI 48912
This work is part of the $205 million investment to rebuild US-127/I-496 from I-96 to I-496. MDOT says the project will address safety concerns, improve roadway geometrics, and improve vehicular movement.
