Chuck Edwards

I’m a Leo which makes it understandable of my love of Leo’s Conley Island! My wife Casey and I are very Livingston County centric, having an appreciation of our living community, food, shopping and most fondly, the people.
I was drawn here twenty-five years ago, raised a family, enjoyed great schools for our kids, and acquired the name “Intense Dad” at my girls sporting events.

I have also managed to stay alive while driving in round-a-bouts, and having panic attack in hot air balloon at Balloon Fest!

Right now I’m going through a separation from my beautiful wife Casey due to golf season. I’m a member of Oak Pointe Country Club and an outlier or non-country clubber.
I’m there for golf, free cologne in the locker room, and pretending to be valet so I can drive fancy cars and make Rodney Dangerfield proud!

I morn the loss of The Jackal Course at Mt. Brighton every bit as much as my wife hates the closing of Bed, Bath and Beyond. When I’m not creating foolishness or playing golf,
I enjoy spending time with my hard working wife, and over the limit pack of K-9’s.

In 2024 we lost the matriarch of our German Shepherds, Elsa, to blood cancer. She wasn’t a pet, she was a family member.
We cherish our other shepherds, Han’s, Athena, and King.
We call our toy breeds, “The Little's” which
are all rescues. Hence over the limit. Accept for our doggy pack, Casey and I are empty nesters of the two-legged variety. We have a devoted interest in the foster and adoption movement spurred by our adoptive daughter who arrived to us as a teen.

It is heartbreaking that so many teen’s age out of the foster system never falling into the loving arms of a forever family. We will continue to champion their
plight, and may even try to twist your arm.

Going back on the air has been greatly influenced by my best friend, partner and wife, Casey. I was home a lot as she works tirelessly as a mental health professional.
This is her life’s work but expected be to unload the dishwasher twice a week, can you believe that?
Working with my wonderful partner Madison is really a safe house, and I’m just glad WHMI doesn’t have a dishwasher!

Love to all taking the time to get to know more about me and just remember: Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.
