The district championship round of the playoffs is now in the books and as heard right here on 93.5, Howell’s season came to an end as they fell to unbeaten Grand Blanc 49-28.

The Highlanders trailed all game long after falling down 21-0, but did fight their way back to make it 41-28 late in the 4th, but could not get any closer before the Bobcats added one more touchdown to put it away for good.

With the loss Howell finishes the year 8-3, while Grand Blanc moves to 11-0 with the win, and will now square off with Rockford after they rolled Grandville 38-7.
