Livingston County Rosa Parks Transit Equity Day
As we plan for the future of Livingston County, addressing our public transportation and active mobility options is crucial. The Livingston County Transportation Coalition invites you to the 4th Annual Rosa Parks Transit Equity Day Breakfast and Community Conversation on Tuesday, February 4, from 8am to 9:30am at Cleary Commons, Cleary University, Howell, MI. RSVP is required; please register here: https://forms.office.com/r/Mj3KQq3hq5.
Livingston County prides itself on its strong community spirit, but rapid growth has led to congestion and longer commutes, affecting families, seniors, and those with disabilities. Enhancing transportation options can alleviate these challenges, improve accessibility, and maintain our quality of life.
Investing in LETS, other public transportation options and promoting walking and biking can benefit everyone, regardless of age or income, while reducing traffic and improving air quality. Solutions like bike lanes, sidewalks, and ride-sharing services can be cost-effective ways to support local businesses and create safer communities.
Join us to discuss practical transportation solutions for our diverse population. Together, we can develop a plan that balances freedom, fiscal responsibility, and community needs. We look forward to seeing you at the breakfast on February 4!

Pizza & Pre-Planning
We cordially invite you and a guest to enjoy a complimentary meal and a presentation of our pre-planning seminar.
GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO PLAN:
THE BENEFITS OF END-OF-LIFE PRE-PLANNING
Benjamin Franklin once said, "By failing
to prepare, you are preparing to fail."
While the phrasing is a bit harsh, the
sentiment certainly holds true to this
day — especially for funeral planning.
Did you know there are more than 100
decisions and pieces of information
needed at the time of passing? When
we don't plan ahead, we leave those
decisions to our loved ones — who
might be left to emotionally overspend
or bicker over options.
When we do plan ahead, we protect the
ones we love on the day they'll need it
most. Pre-planning not only prevents
uncertainty but provides you and those
you love with the peace of mind of
knowing that things are taken care of.
WE'LL DISCUSS:
Preventing Financial Burden • Documenting Your Wishes • Creating Contingency Plans
